The Lansdowne Theater is thrilled to announce that Delaware County Council has made a $70,000 grant in support of the further restoration of the theater's facade. Specifically, the masonry elements will be cleaned, restoration and repainted. Additional elements will be restored using funds received from The Presser Foundation. Due to the timing of the grants work will begin in the spring and conclude during the summer of 2019.
A very special note of thanks goes out to County Council Chairperson John McBlain and his colleagues—Colleen Morrone, Michael Culp, Kevin Madden and Brian Zidek. This is the third grant we have received from council—we appreciate their commitment to Lansdowne and to this project!
