The Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation is thrilled to report that the Lansdowne Theater Project has recently received a major grant from the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Foundation.

The $70,000 grant from the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Foundation was made in support of the restoration of the theater's historic lighting and remanufacturing of lights long ago removed from the theater. (The photo above shows one of numerous historic lighting fixtures to be restored with this grant.)

These grants follow grants received during the pandemic from The Presser Foundation ($150,000), PA Historical Museum Commission ($74,000), and Delaware County Council and Office of Housing and Community Development ($145,000).

Thank you to the foundation for its generosity!
