Sneak Peek at the Back of House Addition at The Lansdowne

Updated: Apr 13, 2022

One of the challenges of converting at theater that was designed and served as a movie house to a venue with live performances is that the dressing, green and restrooms were not needed in the building. As part of the conversion over $1M is being spent to build these amenities needed to put on live performances in the theater. The rendering above shows the exterior of the addition from the Highland Avenue Parking Lot. (Some artistic license was taken in the depiction of property owned by others.) Concert patrons will not see the addition on the interior of the historic building but it will allow the theater operator to book your favorite musicians at The Lansdowne.
